Since internet existed in this world, e-commerce emerge. Furthermore, Freelancing or online job became greater and better. As an IT professional who was engaged much on software development or the creation of systems software, should also be updated with the current trend. Wherein, online jobs are now the current trend. So, it’s not just about profession but what is on-demand and prevalent.

New OFW in the Making…

Other thing to consider is the power of working at home. Whether full time or part-time, everyone is able to join and thrive with this process online. Working home is flexible and an alternative for almost everything. The well-known Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) could evolve if they want to try this new version; to become an Online Filipino Worker (OFW version 2). Aside from this, it is international or global.

Those were not just the reasons I want to do online jobs. It is also beneficial financially due to job opportunities it provides. We can put more foods in our table and help our family better due to its wide existence in the online market.

I started web development as my online starting regime since joining the training on October 2018 of the Rural Impact Sourcing (RIS). Later on, I joined Social Media Marketing (SMMA) of the DigitalJobsPH. By the way, these are projects under the program of the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT). Upon starting SMMA, I realized that through multi-job I can offer other services due to different skill set. I didn’t just received website projects but also received projects like logo design, chatbot and corporate image editing as per clients’ requests. Yes, I received them because I can do this with my website and can give these online.
